Surprise. It’s Sunday. YAY. We have a little idea for this Sunday.

We wanted to do something fun for ya’ll so we made a few more copies of our EP “Finding My Own Way”–handmade, in the denim pocket and everything–and we are going to be having some trivia fun on twitter today. So, ladies and gents…find your own way to our twitter page…and be looking for trivia questions from us throughout today…January 31st, 2010.

It’s gonna be simple. We’ll ask a question and the first person to Twitter @ us with the correct answer will win an autographed copy of the EP. We’ll twitter @ the winner and let you know that you won. If you win, we will ask you to email us at askjillandkate@gmail.com and include your address in the message because we will need to put the CD’s in the mail tomorrow before we leave the country!

Happy December 9th everyone.

A year ago today we released our EP “Finding My Own Way.” Honestly, we didn’t remember until someone very kindly tweeted us and reminded us. See now that’s something funny that’s happened over the last year…twitter. A year ago we didn’t say things like twitter or tweet. But now we do. So thanks to all who follow along with us on that magical ride called Twitter.

We’ve got 3 shows left with the KC gang….these have been some of the most fun shows we’ve ever done! If you’ve come out to a show you’ve probably seen the massive smiles on our faces.

And thanks to everyone who has been so kind and generous to us over the year. Whether it’s coming out to shows, sending us sweet messages, commenting on our blogs…We really, really do appreciate it !

I do believe I (kate) got a super sweet and AWESOME gift bag for my bday–which is in 1 week from today (WOOHOO)–so thank you to everyone that contributed! I will post some pics modeling the hats, but not right now because I haven’t showered in dayssss. True story. So maybe tomorrow I’ll post some pics But seriously…THANK YOU!

In January the J and the K-ster are gonna be recording again…yup…another true story.

Jill bought Scattergories To-Go at Target today! That’s a fun game. You should play.

That’s right…you heard correctly…at 2:23AM we discovered that our EP is FINALLY on iTunes folks.  Thanks for being so patient and supportive.  The past 24 hours have been a complete roller-coaster ride for us–thanks for sharing in all the highs, lows and the jitters in between. We can’t do it without you

Well, kids…the days have flown by and here we are on the eve of December 9th. Yay! Kate and i are very excited for you guys to hear the new music…thank you all SO much for your awesome emails, comments, support….etc!

Hello!

Well we are SUPER pumped about December 9th!  Finally ya’ll will be able to hear what we’ve been working on since February!!  Here are some details that you outta know…

*Finding My Own Way-EP is JUST going to be released digitally. iTunes & CDBABY.com is where you’ll be able to purchase it on December 9th!  If you are outside the US (which we know a lot of you are-woohoo!) you’ll have to go to www.CDBABY.com and download it there.  It will be available on iTunes internationally, but it will be a few weeks after December 9th. So tell you friends, and their friends and anyone you know to download it December 9th!

*Also…to our International friends who have been wondering if we will still send you a Christmas card…of course…what do you think, we’d forget about you because we’re separated by an ocean or two? No way. We can’t GUARANTEE that the cards will be there by Christmas, (we’ll try) but of course we will still be sending cards overseas. 

So to summarize: If you’re international, we love you. Go to www.CDBABY.com on December 9th to download our new EP. And be looking in your lovely mailboxes for our cards.

Hellllloooo Again. 

Jill here. I am currently completely captivated by the Olympics so this will be quick. 

We wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been leaving us comments and messages here and on myspace. We love it and although we can’t reply to everything, we really appreciate it and get a kick out of hearing from you guys. 

 A lot of you have been asking about “Finding My Own Way”…It has been recorded and will be released shortly…glad you like it. 

Ok–Commercial break: Does anyone else get as excited as I do about the Olympics? I mean…these guys and girls have been training their butts off for years and years and they are the very BEST at what they do and I just find that very inspirational. How cool for them…and how fun to watch.
